("Smokey" because we fly Fire Patrols virtually everyday)

Our Missions:

Fire Patrols:  Flown around the entire Eglin
  Air Force Base Ranges.

  Cadet Orientation Rides:  Introduce young
teens to the thrill of flying.

Katrina Search and Rescue

Search and Rescue:  Help find downed planes, missing
  persons, and/or activated ELTs

Low Level Jet Route Surveys:  Find and report obstructions so
low level military training jet routes are safe.

Fly-A-Teacher

  Disaster Reconnaissance:  Especially
  after hurricanes.

Fly-A-Teacher:  so they can take the thrill
  of flight to their classrooms.

Our Airframes:

CAP uses this type of airframe because it is stable, has high wings for better downward visibility and is relatively slow; all of which are conducive for search, rescue, education and training.

Preflight inspection is complete.
