Catholic Social Services offers two dynamic groups for Portuguese-speaking elders in Fall River and New Bedford. Each group is designed to give elders a place to enjoy the company of other Portuguese elders, engage in recreational and social activities, hear about local resources and opportunities, share a meal, and participate in excursions and trips.

Annual Feast of the Blessed Sacrament - The oldest and largest Portuguese Feast in North America. Held on the weekend which ends with the 1st Sunday in August. August 4-7, 2005 Feast of Senhor da Pedra - Usually held during 3rd weekend in the month of August. Feast of Our Lady of Angels - Usually held during last weekend in the month of August.
