La Soul Renaissance, the "Spoken Soul Poet-Tree Showcase" -takes place every third Saturday of the month at New Bedford's Gallery X

New Diaspora Drama Series- A monthly presentation featuring films, plays and experimental performance works by emerging and established Black, Latino and Native American artists from around the country. Held on the fourth Friday of each month at the Neighborhood College's Theatre in New Bedford. Suggested donation is $5.
