Help us create a regional website directory for activist networking in Southeastern Massachusetts!

One of the challenges of activism in Southeastern Massachusetts, the South Shore and on the Cape is that current activists are often unaware of work being done in our region, and people who are newly arrived, or unconnected to the existing network of activism, sometimes find it hard to find a way in. This directory is a simple attempt to help people overcome this challenge.

We hope to make it easier for current activists to keep up with what's going on in the region, what resources exist, and to make it easier for newcomers to plug-in with what's already here (or help people identify more easily the kind of work that needs to get done but isn't being taken on yet by anyone in the area). Our hope is that this will help bring our social justice efforts together, encourage collaboration between activists and groups, grow existing projects and organizations and help us all with our work to make our region and the rest of the world more just. We hope people will be inspired by all the great work that's already going on. Our goal is not only to help activists find each other, but also to make Southeastern Massachusetts a more activist-friendly environment by encouraging people to support each others' efforts.

Let us know about organizations working on social or environmental justice. We also hope to offer a regional listserve and calendar. If you have photos, cartons, drawings, paintings etc that illustrate social change efforts in our area, please share them. The more we share, the better the site will be.
