Reviews and Awards

Fort Worth Star-Telegram cybersports writer Tommy Cummings noted this about the George Seifert site in a Jan. 19, 2000, column: "Posted are high school photos, fishing photos and Seifert's unforgiving rendition of Bossa Nova."

This site was featured in a Jan. 11, 1999, article in the The Rock Hill (S.C.) Herald headlined "Woman has shrine to Seifert on Web." Reporter Darin Gantt wrote, "One fan has put together an incredibly detailed web site on the Carolina Panthers new head coach."

The George Seifert site was among those honored as 49ers Site of the Week (Oct. 15, 1997) during the 1997 season by The Gate, home of the San Francisco Chronicle and Examiner.

Webnet Web Ratings rated this site a 4 (out of 5), with this review: "Homepage of a football coach, contains information on his career, a Gallery, Links, and personal info on the coach. Neatly laid out, good graphics, easy to navigate." (And that was before the site was redesigned Aug. 14, 1997!)
