Bibliography – is a summary
listing in alphabetical order of books, periodicals, articles, or other items
used in research of a particular subject. It is important to give proper credits
to those whose thoughts, words, and ideas you use in your research. A
Bibliography usually appears at the end of an article. There are different types
of bibliographic formats. Before you create your bibliography make sure you ask
your teacher what type of format they require.
References
- When you wish to quote, paraphrase, or summarize the words of an author
directly you must indicate this in the body of your research via a
citation and
provide the details of this source in a reference list located at the end of your paper.
Failure to do so constitutes plagiarism and may result in a failing grade for
your assignment. Once again there are several accepted formats for citations and
references. Please follow the specific guidelines provided by your teacher.
