Found in drier forests from 2000-4000ft and flower in June.

This orchid grows in wet areas. Uncommon, but grows throughout the state.






Ribes lobbii (Gummy Gooseberry)

Found in drier, open forests mid-mountains loaded with fuschia-like flowers in early June.

Plants grow here in cracks on a vertical rock face, the scaled foliage hanging down.
