January 6, 2002: New version of Magnify uploaded featuring a new ruler scale option.
August 18, 2001: New versions of Editor and vTimer have been uploaded. All other programs have been recompiled with the latest version of Delphi (version 6) and all of those have been updated here as well.
August 7, 2001: Uploaded a new version of the vTimer program that now has an option to display a confirmation prompt if you try to exit the program while the timer is active (either the primary timer or the "elapsed time since alarm" timer).
July 16, 2001: Uploaded a new version of the vTimer program that now includes an option to display the elapsed time since the alarm has activated.
March 19, 2001: Uploaded a new version of vTimer that allows greater flexibility in setting the LCD readout colors Also uploaded a new program "StartScrn" which instantly starts up the Windows screensaver (this can be handy when added to your Start menu).
March 18, 2001: Uploaded a new version of DiskInfo which can now run in "silent" mode and output the drive information to a user specified text file.
March 16, 2001: Uploaded my new timer program "vTimer". Also, updated versions of four other programs have been uploaded. This update simply fixes a subtle problem with the vertical separator line in the toolbar where the background color did not properly reflect the color set by the user in the Windows desktop settings (the programs are Editor, IrcSounds, Magnify and WinFont).
July 17, 2000: Site re-design has finally been completed. All software programs have been updated and two new programs have been added.
About the site...
I've decided to hang my hat out on the web for two primary purposes. First of all, I greatly enjoy writing software, and have written a number of programs over the years; including both business and personal applications. Through some unfathomable twist of fate, a few of those programs have managed to gain a small degree of popularity with some of my friends. Having those programs available for downloading from this site greatly simplifies distribution whenever a new version is completed.
Of lesser importance is a desire I have had to share some of my personal opinions, thoughts and philosophy on a variety of issues. I don't profess to be an expert in these areas by any means. However one doesn't reach a certain point in life without forming certain opinions about life in general, the way it is (or seems to be), and the way it should be. Therefore, as the mood strikes, I'll be posting new essays here from time to time, which will reflect my own particular spin on things. Well, at least it keeps me off the streets...
