Editor is a simple text editor program that's designed as a replacement for notepad.exe.  It has none of the limitations of notepad and adds a number of useful features.

Features:

  • Single .exe (no DLL's required)
  • No limitation on file size
  • Text search and replace
  • Status bar, toolbar, and line numbers can be toggled on or off
  • User-configurable recently used file list and favorites file list
  • Option to insert files into an existing document
  • Document text can be sorted in ascending or descending order
  • 32 bit program runs under Windows 95/98/NT
