San
Diego Youth Philharmonic Orchestra announces the second season of San Diego's Award - Winning performing youth group,
Philharmonic String Orchestra and Soloist Ensemble. Conductor, Alyze Dreiling, will lead the ensemble in challenging
and varied repertoire, including works by Poulenc, Albinoni, Hindemith, Ginastra to name a few. The orchestra is designed
for advanced high school age through age 25, string players or exceptional younger students by invitation only. Soloists
from within the ensemble will also be expected to perform with the orchestra during the 2011-12 season. The orchestra will
rehearse weekly, Sunday 6:00-8:30pm at The Rancho Bernardo Community Presbyterian Church, 17010 Pomerado Rd., SD,
92128 and perform three concerts during the 2011-12 season, the first being Nov. 6 which will feature a World Premiere
of a work composed for the YPO, Philharmonic String Orchestra and Soloist Ensemble. Fees for the semester will be $200. Financial
assistance will be available for exceptional students demonstrating great need. Auditions for the Philharmonic String Orchestra
and Soloists Ensemble will be held Sept. 10 and 11 in the North County area. Audition requirements are : A three minute

The YPO Intermediate Orchestra, will
be conducted by Ulli Reiner and our YPO Primary
Strings conductor is Diana Turner.
Rehearsals are held at the Lutheran Church of the Incarnation located at 16889 Espola Rd. in Poway.
