FROM THE FIELD by Steven L. Driskell

A reenactment of the Presentation of the Colors to the Walker Roughs was held on June 5th 1999 at the Old Courthouse in Springfield, Louisiana. Following the presentation, there was a march to the cemetary and placement of flags on veterans graves. Members attending from the 8th Louisiana included Lee Bartlett, Wayne Cosby, and Steven Driskell.
