Council of North American Map Societies

The Council of North American Map Societies (CONAMS) was established in 2007. CONAMS would serve North American map societies by informing them, coordinating their activities as relates to scheduling, and assisting them to better accomplish their common interests and respective missions by sharing information and best practices. Membership in CONAMS consists of representatives from the North American map societies. A list of these North American map societies is maintained by Peter van der Krogt at http://cartography.geo.uu.nl/mapsoc/indexgeo.html. Please notify John Docktor and Peter van der Krogt if there are any additions or corrections to that list.

Communicating between members of CONAMS is done via a mailing list. Please notify John Docktor if there are any changes in the individual(s) representing a North American map society. Current representatives to CONAMS are:
