to your pets, having a pet sitter come to your home makes your home look
"lived in". Your sitter will bring in your mail and newspapers and rotate
lights.
Pet sitting is not limited to vacation sitting. We also offer daily potty breaks
while you're at work. A pet sitter can also come in handy while you are recovering from surgery or illness.
We also offer cat boarding in our home. Your cat will become "one of the
family" while in our home! We only offer this service to one client at a time, so that your cats are the only guests in our home during their stay with us.
Kritter Sitter's owner, Sandy, has been around animals her whole life. She
grew up with dogs and spent several years rescuing homeless cats. She currently shares her home with one dog, Shiloh. Sandy and Shiloh are a certified pet therapy team, making visits to nursing homes and senior citizen centers. Sandy has completed pet first aid and pet CPR training, and serves as an officer of a pet therapy group.
Kritter Sitter is a member of the leading professional pet sitting

Are you too busy to take your pet to the groomer or vet?
We offer pet drop off and pick up services, for cats and small dogs. This service is currently available for established clients only. |
|
To begin service, simply call us at (615) 696-0989! While we welcome general
questions by email, we cannot give you proper information on rates, etc., until we talk by phone in more detail about your pets and their routine.
For first-time clients, we will set up a consultation visit with you and your pets.
There is no charge for this visit. During this consultation, we will have you take us through your pet's routine, and you will fill out paperwork about your pets and service requested. What you will need to provide during this visit is your pet's current vaccination record, pet's veterinary information, your emergency contact information, two keys to your home, and your payment. Please allow at least 45 minutes for this consultation. This consultation and paperwork need only be done once. We keep the paperwork on file, so for future reservations, all you need to do is give us a call! We also offer our key keeper program. As
a convenience to you, we can keep your keys on file, which enables you to
make reservations without requiring a key pickup visit and key pickup fee. This comes in handy when you need to make reservations on short notice, when you are working late, or find yourself locked out of your home. |

All dogs and cats must have current rabies vaccinations. Cats who are
boarded in our home must also have tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, and must either be up to date on vaccinations for distemper, calicivirus and herpesvirus1 or have proof of titers showing immunity.
All pets must be free of fleas, ticks and internal parasites such as worms.
We must be informed of any illnesses your pets have so that we can take
proper precautions.
We do not sit for aggressive animals or overly unruly dogs.
If we must access your yard to exercise dogs or care for outside pets, your
grass must be kept short during tick season.
We only walk dogs in areas that are safe for your dogs and our walkers.
We do not walk dogs on busy streets with no sidewalks or areas where loose dogs are common. We do not walk dogs in tall grass or wooded areas during tick season.
For the safety of your pet, we do not do "every-other-day" vacation visits.
Indoor cats and outdoor dogs require at least one visit a day, and indoor dogs require at least two visits a day.
We collect payment from new clients at the consultation. Established clients
may leave payment for us on the first day of service. |
