This piece is about body image and my mother.

"Svelte" was first shown at the Stuart Levy Gallery in New York as part of a 1996 group show called Spirit in the Flesh. It has since been shown in Contain, Order, Move: The Box as Fundamental Form at Houston's Lawndale Art Center in January of 1997 and also in December of 1997 at Robert McClain & Co. Fine Art, Houston.
