Ok, I know this page has been under some serious construction for a while now,
but you'll just have to be patient with me! :) This page is going to be a sort of
"brief history of swing" section. When it's finally done you'll find information and
anecdotes on all you're favorite swing time era singers and musicians including Duke Ellington,
Ella Fitzgerald, Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Cab Calloway, Frank Sinatra, and many more. You'll
also find a little info on the technical/musical side of swing in a short essay on what makes a
song truly definable as "swing" (written by Jeff Croft, a music major and "Barfly").
It's my goal to have this thing finished by the end of summer, 'cuz Lord knows I won't have time to even think about it once school starts up again!! So be patient, keep your fingers crossed, and check back soon!!
