On Saturday October 11, 1997 Cheryl (a good friend of mine), Elizabeth (my cousin), a friend
of hers, and myself went to see BBVD preform at the Wadsworth theater in
Los Angeles. The show rocked, even though the
venue banned swing dancing (it was like a bad version of footloose or something!!).
The ushers tried to stop anyone from dancing in the isles and even threatened to stop the show,
but about
halfway through the show they lost their battle when most of the audience just couldn't
fight the urge to swing!! In the end we all had to sit back down, but they couldn't
stop the dancing completly!
Like I mentioned before, all of the guys from the band hung out after the show
to sign autographs and just chill with their fans. While I was there I got a chance
to meet everyone from the band and had them sign the CD I had bought at the show. Now
I could have sworn that I got all of them I notice now that I'm missing Jeff's. I have
no idea how I missed him! Oh well, one of these days I'll figure it out...or better
yet, get him to sign it at another show! :) (A girl can dream can't she?!)
Well despite the dancing policies and grumpy ushers, BBVD put on an awsome show
and these are some of the souveniers from that night. Unfortunatly my camera busted the
night before, so the pics of the bands are from their own web page (some from their new
