I have a 2004 BMW R1150RT that I recently purchased in October
of 2007. When I got my bike I realized how hard it is to be seen at night...even though I wear a radioactive yellow
riding jacket every time I'm on the road! I looked at several websites and at my local BMW dealer in Raleigh NC, only
to find several reflective vinyl kits that sell for $16.00 to $29.00 each for each box in the system case set (two sides and
the top case). I ran the gamut of suppliers to see what layouts were available, only to find I'd have to create
a pattern myself to get anything that I really liked the look of. After many tries and different patterns, I can
up with the design you see here.
I decided to offer these for sale, thinking that some of you out
there want to been seen but really don't want to lose the visual appeal of your bike either.
I am offering the entire set of reflective vinyl for the system
cases. Mind you, I made these for a 04 R1150RT, if your bike uses the same cases, they will fit. After some
discussion with the customer service folks at Bob's BMW dealership in Columbia MD, I have been informed that the system cases
for the following models are indeed the same.
1100 and 1150 S, RS, and RT models all have the exact same luggage
system and can be interchanged from bike to bike. Therefore these should fit your model if it is one of the above
