On July 26, 2003, Bruce (BlueBoy) and M.D. (Dawg) departed on a estimated 2 weeks, 4500 mile run to the 63th Annual Sturgis Bike Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota -via- Durango Colorado, then up the 'backbone' of the Rocky Mountains via the Collegiate mountains of Colorado.
...with stops at: Durango, CO - 4 Corners Nat. Monument - Silverton, CO - across Monarch Pass, Co...
then North - to the source of the Arkansas River at Leadville and Fremont Pass, Co...

then Wheatland, WY by way of Laramie, WY...

then West for a brief visit to Old Fort Laramie Nat'l Historic Site...

then on North to Hot Springs, SD - the 'backdoor' to the Black Hills of South Dakota...

..from there on North to Sturgis, SD.

While staying at Glencoe Campground (north side of Sturgis) - we did touring Runs of the Black Hills...

AS WELL as a Tour Run to Devils Tower.
