Developments in 2009:

  • I have opened my own small gallery, the Westside Renaissance Galley, located inside the Westside Renaissance Market, 1003, W Clay St. Ukiah.  The gallery will feature new works and an opening reception as part of Ukiah's First Friday Art Walk each month from 5-8 pm.   
  • Delivered 4 new works to Valley Art Gallery in Walnut Creek CA for their 60th anniversary celebration.  The event also marks my 10th year with the Valley Art Gallery.
  • An exhibit of my work hung at the Mendocino Environmental Center, 106 W Standley, Ukiah for the months of July and August.     
Developments in 2008:
  • Exhibition at Butters Gallery July 2008.  Opening night was Thursday, July 3 and is part of Portland's great 1st Thursday art event.
  • Seattle Art Museum Gallery Group Exhibit.  In Focus: Northwest Galleries at SAM.  June 12-July 12.
  • June: New paintings in Blue Sky Gallery, Willits.
  • April: Shipping several new paintings to Stellers Gallery, which now offers my work in multiple locations.
  • March 30: I discussed my work on a one hour segment of "Ask the Buddhist Nun: Perspectives and Talk from a Spiritual Vantage Point" on KMEC-LP Radio.   
Developments in 2007:
  • Solo exhibit at Tierra Art and Wine Garden in Ukiah in June.  The opening reception at Tierra is June 7, from 5-8 p.m.
  • Exhibit at Mendo-Lake Credit Union in Ukiah month of June..  
  • Five works are included in the March show at Butters Gallery, Portland

  • Shipped several new painting to Butters Gallery, Portland. 
Developments in 2006:
  • Shipped several new painting to Stellers Gallery, Point Verda Beach, Florida. 

  • A selection of new work will be featured in August at Ruff & Associates Architects, 100 West Standley, Ukiah.  This show is part of the Ukiah Art Stroll program, which kicks-off with first Thursday openings.  The opening at Ruff & Associates will be from 5-8pm, Thursday, 8/3/06.  
  • My work was displayed in West Hollywood, CA via Linda Steinberg Fine Art Consulting.
  • I completed the sale of a 48" x 60" commission, which was arranged by Art Expressions Gallery in San Diego.  See http://www.artexpressionsgallery.com/welcome.htm for more information about Art Expressions Gallery.  I am now working on a commission for a 71" x 84" painting for Art Expressions.  
  • In May I delivered four new works to Blue Sky Gallery.  

  • I submitted a painting for the Annual Willits Art Show and Auction.  The show runs from February 18th through March 18th.  The final bidding party is from 7-9pm on March 18, 2006.   
  • For the second year in a row, I submitted a painting for consideration by the Cascade AIDS Project Benefit Auction in Portland, Oregon: Art for Life Campaign. 
  • Shipped two new painting to Butters Gallery, Portland. 
Developments in 2005:
  • Several new painting are being shown as part of a two-person exhibit at Blue Sky Gallery in Willits, California.  See a sample here.  My co-exhibitor is photographer Jon Klein,.  You can see Jon's work at http://www.northcoastartists.org/JonKlein.html.  The opening was October 1, 2005. 
  • Four new paintings were sent to Stellers Gallery at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. (August)
  • New works were sent to Stellers Gallery, Butters Gallery, and to Valley Arts Gallery. (May/June).
  • Casa Publishing, a publisher of high quality, limited-edition prints, has added my work to their portfolio.  Casa Publishing limited edition prints of several works from my 2003 exhibition at Blue Sky Gallery and more recent works can be seen at  www.casapublishing.com.and are available through their distributor Hambleton Fine Art Services at www.fineartservices.com.
  • A total of five works are available as limited edition prints including:  Burnished Leaf (Two), Green River (Two), Peacock Sunset (Two), Splendor, and Sunrise at the Edge of the Tropics (Two) -- see my New Works pages 1, 2 and 3 for images of these works.  The originals of Peacock Sunset (Two), Splendor, and Sunrise at the Edge of the Tropics (Two) are also still available.  Please inquire if interested. 
  • I was invited to participate in the 2005 Florence Biennale and will have new works in Florence, Italy for that event, which runs from 12/3/05 to 12/11/05.  The Biennale will include selected works from my recent Mauve Series.  My work will also be included in the Biennale catalogue.
  • I submitted "Koi Coping with Wind and Water" for consideration by the Cascade AIDS Project Benefit Auction in Portland, Oregon on 4/9/05: Art for Life 2005.  I am pleased that the work was chosen as one of 50 that are featured in the event catalogue.
  • A recent work, "Tropical Sunrise," was included in a juried group exhibition that ran from Jan.6th to Feb. 27th at the Mendocino Art Center, Mendocino, CA.  It was awarded an honorable mention by the jury.
 
Main 2004 Exhibitions  
In May and November 2004 I delivered several new works to Valley Art in Walnut Creek, California.
I had a solo exhibition from June 2 - June 26, 2004 at Butters Gallery.
