My earliest connection with clay was as a child climbing the multicolored cliffs near my home, making small pots from
the vivid clay, and watching a local potter who worked there at her wheel. Over the years I have remained committed to clay
in my life, to the connection of the human hand to the earth, and to the intensity and challenge of the work.
