After cleaning
out the fuel system replacing the plugs, point, condenser, oil and filter plus having the carb overhauled by 600 specialist
Tim Mings this Z600 roared back to life on July 4th weekend 2006. The car runs strong after who know how many years
of sitting. A brake system overhaul is next on the list. 600 specialist Miles Chappell is
me helping out with this. In the meantime there was just enough stopping power left to take the car out for a short
drive. Boy did that little car bring back good memories! The sounds, the smells and the driving feel.
Truly fun!
One good way to judge how well
a car has been cared for is to examine the interior. This Z600s interior is in great shape. There are a few seam separations
on the front seats but nothing that isn't repairable. Even the original AM radio works.
