Descendants of James Mullikin I of Maryland

I began my search for my Mullikin Family Roots in the fall of 1978. Over the years I have run into numerous problems in trying to correctly identify my Mullikin Family Roots. The published genealogies on the Mullikin Family are either wrong or contain numerous errors on many of the family lines coming out of Maryland. These same mistakes have been repeated over and over in other related family genealogies back in Maryland. What a shame? With these problems in mind I decided it was time to research the early records back in Maryland on James Mullikin I. I have concentrated my research during the last 3+ years on the original James Mullikin I and his descendants on the Western Shore of Maryland and have spent all of my spare time this past fall(1999) and winter(2000) reading roll after roll of microfilm of the early records of Maryland. I now have new and additional information which I would like to share with the descendants of the original James Mullikin I of the Western Shore of Maryland. June 2001-I have added the Inventory of James Mullikin I Estate(blanks will be filled in after I get the microfilm roll-paper copy very hard to read). Additional information will be added as time permits.
