Laf's other Benelli, the beautiful 250 4-cyl. GP replica.
SCR provided flowtesting and head modifications for both Laf's Benellis

This was my return to racing for the first time since 1979 at Sandia. Straight from the SCR shop to the winners circle, with 2 AHRMA 200GP victories the first time out with my new Yamaha 175 CT-1.

Horsepower helps...

Improvements for the 2005 season;
TD-1 fairing, handmade tank and seat, a close-ratio transmission, and I designed and hydroformed a new pipe. The bike was faster than ever, winning both 200GP races at Willow by almost half a lap. Bob Bryson finished second in both races on the SCR-built 175 Bultaco.

Wider fairing, narrower bars and tank, and the large seat greatly improved the aerodynamics.

Former AFM and AMA racer Ralph Hudson brought his Suzuki TR500 out of a 30 year retirement to run at AHRMA's Thunderhill event.

2005 UPDATE; Bryson won both F-250 races at Willow Springs !

Three SCR riders battle in 250GP at Thunderhill. David Pierce leads on his beautiful Bultaco Metralla, followed by Dave Stark on a similar machine. Bob Bryson chases on his 175 Bultaco, finishing second for an SCR 1-2 finish.

Ralph Hudson rode Bryson's 175 Bultaco in Sunday's 200GP at Thunderhill, and charged from the back of the pack to finish second, another SCR 1-2. He then rode the 175 in the 250GP, another second, and another SCR 1-2.

The ride of a lifetime ! I am privileged to ride Giacomo Agostini's 500 3-cyl MV Agusta racer at the AHRMA/Garage Co. MotoClassica at Willow Springs. The bike is owned by Jeff Elghanayan, and was restored by Todd Millar.

The racing Stark family;
son Dave, wife Anne, and dad Charles.
As Dave pointed out in one of his great awards presentations, this represents a first for AHRMA....legal wife-beating and child abuse ! Anne just ran her first race at Willow Springs in 2005, click on the pic to read her story.

No wonder I can't catch this guy, even when he's riding his old 250 Montesa ! Here Jim Hoogerhyde flies on his 600 Rotax/Tigcraft.
