TWO STROKE PORTING

Porting is the key to two stroke performance, and we are experts at designing ports to do a specific job. The process begins
with a thorough examination of the parts and specifications, which are then evaluated with different computer programs to
fine tune the design. Port modifications are executed with precision for optimum performance and efficiency. Crankcase and
manifold porting and matching is also available.

MACHINING

We measure and adjust compression ratios, squish angles, squish clearance, squish velocity, and combustion chamber shape to
optimize the combustion process. Variables are adjusted to work for your power output, RPM range, and fuel octane. This Bultaco
head had a trough type chamber with two angled spark plugs, and was welded and remachined to a modern design.

FOUR STROKE PORTING

We use flowbench testing to evaluate ports and modifications. Molds such as this one, from a Benelli 250 single, can be made
for precise measurements and can be used to cast a test head for flowtesting. Years of experience allow us to make the right
choices for your engine. Properly matching flow rates with engine needs provides high power output with a broad power spread.
Intake systems can be tested to ensure all aspects of engine breathing are matched to the desired levels.

CRANKSHAFTS

We offer crank truing and welding, full rebuilds, balancing, and specialized machining. Cranks are assembled and trued to
better than factory specs, and weight and balance modifications allow smooth operation at high revs. We can provide quality
parts to rebuild most cranks, to build your engine on a solid foundation.
