Mr. Liu
Zheng-quan is often called Beauty Liu because of the Beauties he draws. For
more than 20 years, Liu created many beauties based on Chinese minority customs,
historical figures, and subject matters of famous writers and poets. He is said to be an
expert at capturing the softness and flow of oriental bodyline. His works have been
published by major Chinese media such as "The People's Daily", "Chinese
Commerce Daily", "Sichuan Workers Daily" and "China Fishing
Magazine". His painting "Pure Jade and Crystal Heart" and several other
works were included in "Chinese Paintings Album" in 1998. He is a member of China Artists Association, Member of the Standing Committee of Sichuan Overseas Chinese Art Exchange Association, vice president of Neijiang Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Research Academy, vice president of Shenda Art Institute, general secretary of Neijiang Artists Association. |
