Let's move on to France. We love Provence and the Languedoc-Roussillon region because of the wonderful lighting, the wild landscapes, the lovely villages and the history around every bend in the road.
We stopped at Roussillon to see the magnificent ochre quarries. This is the clock tower in the brightly colored village near the quarries.
The entire village is painted in the lovely bright colors from the nearby ochre quarries.
