Wow, Teresa, you outdid yourself Sunday in Zig's Encourager's class!  Not many get a standing ovation.  It was beautiful.  Everyone that we talked to said it was the most beautiful song that you have sang (You Raise Me Up).  Bouquet of Roses!  Pansy

Teresa...  I checked out your website and my hat is off to you.  What an important cause for you to donate your talents toward.  I applaude anyone who is trying to educate the public about anything crime related.  I feel like we as citizens tend to ignore all of this in the hopes that it will not touch our lives.  Unfortunately, if it does, we are unprepared to know what to do.  Jenifer Zihlman, Founder C.A.R.E. (Criminality Abounds, Reunite in Education).

Teresa...  Thank you for addressing our group.  We were delighted that you could come.  Several members commented on how much they enjoyed your presentation and song.   ABWA-Desoto Chapter

Teresa, ...You are doing an incredible job fighting domestic violence and your message is very powerful because it also gives voice and attention to the children who witness and suffer, unnoticed, from it... God bless you.

Teresa, I too was in an abusive relationship for a couple years when I was 20-22 years old.   "A relative's husband"  is who saved my life.  One day he got about 5 men that worked for him, drove to my place, and literally moved me out away from him.  It took that to get me safe because anytime I tried to leave on my own he threatened to kill me and my son.  So as  you are aware, I stayed with him out of fear and control...several years later, I went to the Family Place and it really helped.  I had a hard time with how could I let this happen to me?  You know what shocks me? To this day - neaerly 20 years later, I still flinch easily when someone  raises their arm to me.

Teresa, I'm a (shelter) counselor, and I used your song, "Don't Hurt the Baby's Mama" in two workshops this month (October, 2004), and the response was overwhelmly positive.  Not only did the group relate by crying and talking about the song, but the message of hope was clear.  The fact that you recorded the song is a testament of someone who went on with their life, and look what you've done!
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
