We recently heard from William E. Coleman that Dr. Carr's sister, Esther, had passed away. We are trying to locate an
obituary to include here, but until then, we only have a few details.
Esther K. Cavanagh, 84, of Buffalo, New York, formerly of Atlantic Highlands and Dorchester, Mass., died June 29,
2003 at Mercy Hospital, Buffalo.
She was a school administrator at Croydon Hall Academy for many years.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at the Church of the Holy Family on July 3, 2003. Internment was in Holy Cross Cemetery
in Lackawanna, New York.
She was predeceased by her parents, Patrick Carr and Margaret Coyne, brothers Patrick F., John M. and William J.,
and sisters Margaret "Rita" Lynch and Eileen C. McCrevan.
