These newspapers were over 160 years old when they were microfilmed in 1990 and often the type is very hard to read. I have
done the best I can, but there may well be mistakes. This paper had many recognizable typos, so I assume there are others
in the surnames that I have not recognized. Still, there is a lot of wonderful information here.
Note: If there is no transcription for a certain date, that does not necessarily mean that the issue is missing. The marriage
and death notices seemed to come in waves. There would be none for several weeks and then a whole list.
In retrospect, I wish I had transcribed all of the administrative notices as well, since some deaths are not listed as such,
but the settlement of the estate was mentioned. This was particularly true in the later years. I hope to get back and fill
in these details one day.
I have transcribed most entries exactly as they were spelled, except for a few obvious typos like "adn" for "and", etc. Occasionally,
there was a part of the newspaper in such bad shape that I couldn't read it, or was unsure about part of it. For those, I
have inserted (?) in the text. Asides from me are in [square brackets].
