SCOUNDRELISM- Some two or three hay stacks belonging to Mr. Benj. C. Sherman were fired last Monday night and entirely
consumed. Other stacks adjoining would have been burned up had the neighbors not assembled and tore away the adjoining one.
The fellow who did the deed would assassinate a man in the dark.-- They were undoubtedly fired purposely, but we understand
there is no clue to the perpetrator.

DIED
At Livonia, Ind., on the 10th inst., of Scarlet Fever, EDWARD E., son of Spencer C. and Harriet Weller, aged 1 year, 5 months
and 24 days.
After two weeks of the most intense but patient suffering, Jesus said, Suffer him to come unto me, and forbid him not, for
of such is the kingdon of Heaven. His spirit quit its mortal frame, exchanged earth for Heaven, and suffering for happiness.
Thus borne on Angels' wings safe to Abraham's bosom, he now sings redemption's song in Heaven. May God bless the heart-stricken
parents and surviving son.

last syllable.--[Balt. Sun
Quite erroneous. Pronounce as if commending your uncle's wife to a dish of ripe strawberries, and saying, Aunt, eat-'em.--
