I like to blend imagination and reality to create original artwork that's a symbolic representation
of ideas and feelings. My artwork is a visual analogy of the resonance I feel between my subject matter and its environment. My
palette is a custom mixture of colors, like a cadance or tonal color that describes my personal and honest
response to my media.
In addition to being a visual artist, I'm also a performing artist. I play mandolin in the band Mountain Brew with
my husband, Andy Burr. We've created a blend of music that reflects our tastes and our backgrounds. It's a pleasure
for us and seems to be for our audiences as well. We play most often as a duo, but sometimes add fiddle, bass and drums.
