- my background, interests and involvements since retiring. So come on in and look around!

Having retired in 2000 after 34 years with the Philadelphia School District, first as a teacher and then as a librarian, I
am continuing my performances of folk music and storytelling for the young and young at heart.

In addition to performing I can present a number of different workshops including: The Art of Storytelling, What Is Folklore,
Fun with Junkband Instruments, Bandana Folding, Parody Writing, Making and Using Simple Puppets, and others.

I have performed at the National Storytelling Festival, the Texas Folklife Festival, the Philadelphia Folk Festival, and
venues such as schools,libraries,synagogues,churches, bookstores, parties, and at other festivals and special events. I have
emceed my own radio show, and I have hosted or performed on a Phila. School District Cable TV Show - "Stories For Children"
- 13 times. My rates are negotiable and I can provide publicity and references on request. Contact me by e-mail!
