| I happen to love the look of mahogany. Unfortunately, this wood was not as cheap or as readily available as the poplar, so I settled for mahogany stain. All exterior surfaces were stained and then coated with several layers of varnish. All of the interior surfaces were painted flat black, including staples, screws and anything else that wasn't already black. |
