In the table that follows you will find the BLOG entries of Lee Kolinsky. I started my BLOG in late September of 2005. The entries may be a rant about something that upsets me or it may just be a comment about the things I did that day. I hope to update this page often. Most recent entries will always be found at the top of the page. If you would like to comment, rebuke or debate any of what you read here, please feel free to send me an EMAIL about it.

July '06 - This month on the other hand was quite eventful. I went to Portland OR for 10 days. 4 days of which I went sight seeing with Elana. We went to Mt. Hood, and the Pacific Ocean, and waterfalls, and went kayaking/biking on the canal, and went dining at nice places. I spent the next 7 days participating at the 59th annual IJA juggling festival. By the end of the month I also changed girlfriends from Elana who I have been in a long distance relationship for the past 5 years to Jennifer who I met on Craigs-List and who lives here in Vegas.
June '06 - Not too much exciting stuff to report this month. Went to visit Elana in NY for a week, did some hiking.
May '06 - This month I worked for CT, I paid $225 for a bull-shit speeding ticket, I finished painting the trim on the house, also built a screen cover to keep pine needles from gloging up the gutter and built a little table for my BBQ, went camping at Gold Point and bought a new SUN Ultra-60 workstation for backups.
April '06 - Since I moved to Vegas, my birthday time (mid-April) has not been so wonderful. Not because I have issues about my age or my birthday, but because I have to get my car registered and smog checked and I hate having to do that and I think the whole smog check think is kind of a scam. Add to this the fact that on 4/13 I got a speeding ticket by a motorcycle police ass-hole who writes me up for 40 in a 35 and says he caught me by pacing me on Rancho leaving the Palace Station. I was with my dad and we where just coming home from dinner there. I also will start painting the trim in the house, and hopfully finish before it gets too hot. On the plus side I did make $1000 in my PC-Lee business while working and visiting in NY.
March '06 - I'm still managing to make a few bucks this year even though I'm mostly retired. I was able to do 2 gigs for CT/Veritas this month!
2/14/06 - On Valentines Day I and a small group went for a hike out at Red Rock Canyon. We did the White Rock Loop trail which is a 6.5 mile loop around the base of what is called the White Rocks. It was a Love-ly day. This was another TrailBlazers hike posted by Sosoo and later in the evening, Brenda posted a "Don't have a date for Valentaines Day dinner bash" at the Tenaya Creek Brewery. About 20 folks showed up for that and we all had a Love-ly time there as well.
1/28/06 - Today I did my good deed and went out to Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge to volunteer to help save the endangered Pupfish. As I understand it, this species of fish only live in this area. They live in the warm water of an underground hot-spring and feed on dark blue-green algae. Our job was to cut back the ever encroaching Cat-Tail plants that exists on the edges of the warm water creek produced by the hot-spring. A group of about 20 volunteers spend the day in the warm water cutting, bailing, and hauling out the evil Cat-Tail plants. I sure hope we didn't kill any more of the little buggers as we were trudging up the muddy water as did the scientists at the Devil's Hole site.
1/1/06 - Happy New Year's to everyone! I'm hoping for a very good and prosperous year in 2006. I hope this is true for everyone I know as well. Additionally I took a little vacation to L.A. to visit my old neighborhood and some old friends. I showed my girlfriend where I lived and grew up and went to school and worked and all that. We went to Simi Valley, Van Nuys, Santa Monica, Redondo Beach, Playa Del Rey, Santa Barbara, Chatsworth, and Hollywood. It was nice trip down memory lane.
