Filming announced in Daily Variety Mar. 23, 2004.  This one seems to have legs again.  At least, it is still listed on IMDB as being “in production” with a release date of 2008.  AR to play an ex-pat journalist named Fenchurch.

Hungry Hamsters
Article on www.netimperative.com dated 8-21-06 announces this animation series which is to be broadcast online and to cell phones, featuring the voices of Alan Rickman and Brian Blessed, among others.  Trying to picture what a hamster with a huge voice would be like.  Check their website (www.hungryhamsters.com) for updates.

Murder in Samarkand
According to a Mar 30, 2006 article in The Lancashire Evening Telegraph, AR is being considered for the role of Jack Straw in this upcoming film.  Stay tuned.

The Villa Golitsyn
First announced on fearsmag.com and DarkHorizons.com in April 2006.  Casting included AR as the alcoholic Willy Ludley and Kristin Scott Thomas as his wife, Priss, and was to be directed by Peter Medaks.  Shooting was to have begun in June of 2006.  IMDB page updated in Jan 2007 still has this in pre-production status.

Waiting for the Healer
All that is known about this one is that AR is the executive producer.  First mentioned in TimCornwell's article, "Festivals Actually Changed My Life--Rickman" published in The Scotsman, August 9, 2004.
