The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy  (2005)   Voice of Marvin the Robot

Screenplay by Douglas Adams and Karey Kirkpatrick.

Originally aired as a radio series (BBC, 1978-79), then as a television miniseries (BBC, 1981).  A second TV series was launched in 2005.  Novels based on the two BBC series were published between1979-1992.  Douglas Adams died in 2000, but he had already completed the screenplay long before then.

Many other editions exist of these novels.  They are often published in one  volume, especially the first three.
