Welcome to Boering Acres

As of the spring of 2007 we no longer raise or sell Breeding stock.

Many changes for us

It is true, we had to give up our beloved Boers. But I took up a new and exciting "Hobby". I now make Home Made soaps. Yes, Goat milk soaps were the start of my new adventure. I have also gone back to sewing but with a new tool. I now have a home  embroidery machine. Soon, I hope to have a whole new website up.

I am leaving up the Goat Links page, and the guardian dogs page for those needing to find good sound information.

Our History with Goats

We moved here to Sneedville, in Hancock County Tennessee in 1991. For several years we raised many different breeds of goats, mostly Nubians. We purchased our first Boer buck as a bottle goat in 1997.

We raised Quality Boer goats until the spring of 2007 when we sold the last of our breeding stock to David Albright. David bought most of my quality stock including our herd sires Hill Top Hero, and KLS-S2. I can confidently recommend David as a breeder of fine quality animals.

For any one that needs a herd protector, I recommend livestock garden dogs. We had Great Pyrenees guardians, without which we would have suffered great loss. Please visit our page on Guardian Dogs for more information.

Sincerely,
