This is my first run at the L.A. Raceway in Lancaster, CA 1992. All stock original 350hp 400, 4 speed, a/c car. Weighing in at 4000 lbs.

Naturally I did very poorly. 15.8 @ 95 mph. It turned out that the block was cracked and water was mixing with the oil, but the main problem was getting the tires to hook up with the asphalt since the car has an open end 3.23 rear. Tire spin was a real problem, all the way down the track.

The Goat out of its natural elements in Colorado snow 1992. This was the first time I got to stretch the goat's legs on an extended tour. The car drove beautifully without any problems. 15 mpg on the freeway at 70 mph (with a cracked block!). What a great car...
