J.S. Displays the ultra-lite carbide lighting system, consisting of the bottom of a carbide light without the troublesome apparatus to control water flow and direction of acetylene gas.

Advantages: light weight. No fitting bracket required. Nice ambient lighting effect for borehole passages.

Disavantages: Requires frequent refills. Not practical in crawlways. Risk of "bat burning."
