One Pot Favorites
Quick Pizza Potato Hash, p. 62
(really enjoyed)
Chicken Green Bean Skillet, p. 92
(really enjoyed -- we used garlic instead of onion)
Cabbage Patch Stew, p. 99
(This was real tasty. . . . I would make again.)
Lasagna Casserole, p. 68
([This] that is done in the microwave is wonderful. I have also
done this in the oven when having company and needed to double it.)
Italian Zucchini and Spaghetti, p. 84
(Some of my favorite recipes are in those books. Try [this] in the (red)
book. Of course there are more, but these . . . I remembered off the
top of my head (I'm at work).)
([one] of my all time favorite recipes)
Great Northern Bean Bonanza, p. 72
(I just had [this] for lunch, and it was very good.)
Scroll down after clicking on this link to see:
Indian Rice with Chicken, p. 93
([I've] tried and liked.)
([one of] the "most favorite" of my favorites)
Ranger Beans, p. 105
(Does anyone have ideas for cold lunches?? I don't have access to a microwave. . . .
If you like beans (northern, kidney etc.) some of her hot bean recipes such as
[this] are good as a cold side dish to a sandwich or on top of a green salad.)
Maui Ham Casserole, p. 153
(I made a new HE recipe the other night that was great.)
(We had this casserole this week, and it is excellent! I had doubts as to whether
or not my family would like it, but everyone gave it a big thumbs up. If you like
ham, definitely try it!)
Home-Style Chicken and Cabbage Stew, p. 90
(This one is very good!)
(I made a recipe again tonight that I last made July 5, 2000. I had marked it very
good. But looking at the recipe I thought, the receipe doesn't sound very good,
but I'll try it again. I used the subject of Lomein, because to me the dish looks
just like a dish of Chinese lomein, and really is just as good. . . .
Changes I made: I used fresh mushrooms and added them with the cabbage, carrots
and onions. I also added Chef Paul Prudhomme's Meat Magic Seasoning Blend to
enhance the taste.)
Chicken Broccoli Rice Casserole, p. 131 Yahoo Access
(This one is easy to make and tastes great! I've had this one many times.)
Grandma's Modern Meat Loaf, p. 70
(***** We served this with The Best Mashed Potatoes (April '99 HE Newsletter, p. 7 -- Cooking Tips),
baby carrots and canned peas. This was such an awesome meal, and we topped this
off with Quick Chocolate Mousse that I found on the Kraft Site. (The total meal
was 7 points).)
([one] of my all time favorite recipes)
(My favorite [meat loaf] is [this]. It's the brown sugar / tomato / mustard sauced
meatloaf, and it's quick - you make it in the microwave.)
Supper Time Stew, p. 176
(Last night I made [this] and the only other thing I added is 2 teasp. beef
bouillion granules. I made this in the slow cooker for about 5 hours and it is
excellent. - 4 points for 1 1/2 cups. Try it you will like it.)
Mexicali Skillet Dish, p. 101 Yahoo Access
(I have to say that right now I am hooked on [this]. I don't know why I like it
so much, but I do!!! May have to make it tonight!!)
(I just received One Pot Favorites a few days ago and this was the first thing
I made on Saturday - what a coincidence. This is a neat recipe because the noodles
go in raw.)
Grande Noodle Con Carne Skillet, p. 106
(great, will make again)
