I Got The Machine...Now What Do I Cook!?! Cookbooklet
Peaches and Cream Ice Cream, p. 20
(This tasted better after it stayed in the freezer for a day.
It seemed to allow it time for the flavors to mingle. I let it
sit out, then, for about 30 minutes before I served it.)
Grilled Salmon Patties with Dilled Mushroom Sauce, p. 34
(I made [this] for dinner last night and both my hubby and I thought
they were good. Also very easy to fix.)
(This was so good. My daughter wanted to know when I was going to make this
one again. I got this recipe off the HE Recipe Exchange Message Board, and
put this book on my wish list.)
Pizza Sandwiches, p. 27
(I like [this]. Actually, I liked everything I've made from that
cookbooklet, so if you don't have it, you might want to get it.
It's got recipes for the GF grill, breadmachines, ice cream makers,
crockpots and pressure cookers.)
(I think I may try Hunt's tomato sauce in place of the ketchup.)
Maple Crunch Ice Cream, p. 22
(Today I made [this] and it was delicious. . . . [My husband] really
liked it. I expected it to be watery and icy but it was very creamy.
Reminded me of butter pecan which is my favorite. I thought the recipe
much better than the Blue Bunny bought ice cream. Just my opinion though.
Do try your machine. I think you'll be surprised at how well it freezes.)
Any Season Strawberry Ice Cream, p. 23
(Try this one on for (skinny) size!)
(My neighbor brought me 3 quarts of strawberries that she had just picked,
so I made [this]. . . . It's delicious and I had only 1 serving (which is
a miracle in itself, LOL).)

Lemon Ice Cream, p. 26
(Tonight I made [this]. This was good and I will make it again.)
Southern Delight Apricot Pecan Bread, p. 5 Yahoo Access
(It turned out FANTASTIC!!!!! I didn't put the nuts in and increased the dried
apricots to one cup of a combination of apricots, raisins and dried cranberries.
I used strawberry spreadable fruit instead of apricot. I had a slice with some
FF cream cheese and a bit more spreadable strawberry on it and oh boyyyyyy was
it ever good. One more thing - I made mine on the dough cycle and then let it
rise for an hour and then baked it at 375 for 35 minutes instead of letting the
bread machine do it all. I like the appearance better and I'm sick of digging
that paddle out of the bottom of my bread! LOL Give this a try. Makes a huge
loaf and it's very good.)
We made the following 3 bread recipes all month:
(The white and wholewheat breads are our standbys.)
- Whole Wheat Bread, p. 11
(I have made this over half dozen times, and really like it. Also I keep it
in the refrigerator about the 3 day so not to lose to mold. As we have to
limit ourselves l to 2 slices a day or we will eat the whole loaf at one
sitting.)
(***** This is a great recipe. I love bread, but being a diabetic I had to
cut down. I loves rolls, so we made this sugar free and light margarine bread
into rolls -- cut it into 12 pieces, made medium balls and put into 12 hole
muffin pan. The rolls raised excellent, were light not heavy. Great. This
will be my our standard bread recipe from now on. JoAnna you have excelled
again, thanks. (Note: since the above statement we made another 3 loaves
of this bread this month plus the rolls, plus made a loaf for Kim and our
Grand-Godson's Mother. I believe they both loved it!)

Simple White Bread, p. 14
(This was a great, basic white bread. It was good to have the
exchanges for my bread machine bread! . . . [served with
Grandma's Chicken Noodle Soup, October 2001 newsletter])
(I've only used [this] bread recipe [from this cookbooklet] and it was great!)
(***** This is absolutely terrific. We used the egg substitute. This bread
was very moist and tasty.) KWQC-TV Recipes (05/23/2002)
(We also made [this], both as a loaf and as rolls. This is an awesome recipe.
Dennis, who now does all the cooking, says it is the best bread recipe that he
has used, and since we found it, has only used this recipe. Dennis says "Thanks
JoAnna! What a fantastic recipe!" A suggestion for a difference: Dennis
sprinkled some grated reduced-fat cheddar cheese on top of the loaf just prior
to putting it in the oven, both on the loaf and on the rolls. (just something
different) (my comments: Sure is better than store bought bread!) )
- Buttermilk Cheese Bread, p. 7
(Be sure to check out [this] cookbook. We LOVE [this] bread. MMMMMMMM!!!!)
(***** Well, another great bread recipe we have tried in the past couple of
weeks. The only change Dennis made was he substituted 1 cup of whole wheat
flour for 1 cup of the bread flour. It tasted GREAT!)
(I love it when I'm off! So far I've made [this] (used up the last of my habanero
cheese in it! Made a wonderful tomato sandwich with it.) . . . )
We also took the Whole Wheat Bread and the Simple White Bread and made cut each one
into 12 pieces and put into muffin tin for dinner rolls. We had some good comments from
our company that these were the best rolls they had ever eaten.
Ultimate Peanut Butter Ice Cream, p. 19
(I made [this] last week and used chunky PB instead of creamy, and left out the
peanuts. Be warned . . . it's way too good to have only 1 serving. DH and I
polished off the entire batch in one evening (which was one and a half cups each).
Maybe that's why JoAnna makes such small batches in her ice cream recipes, LOL.
Enjoy!)
Easy Raisin Cinnamon Bread, p. 4
(I just made [this]. It was real easy and very good. The smell was wonderful as
it was cooking! I don't even like raisins! I can't wait until breakfast, so I
can toast a piece.)
(I used to make this quite often. It's great with fat free cream cheese. (Don't
spoil it with margarine!) Also, we like to eat it fresh, while still warm, like a
Danish roll with nothing on it. Oh, it smells so wonderful, I can't imagine you
actually waited until breakfast to try it! ;) Now you've gone and made me hungry,
so I'll have to get out my recipe and bread machine! Haven't had breakfast yet,
but this is definitely worth waiting for.)
(I didn't wait until morning to try it! It smelled too good. We had some warm at
dinner. It's great toasted, too.)

Pressure Fried Chicken, p. 56
(Happy 4th everyone! My DH and I just tried [this]. . . . DH took one bite and said,
"Joanna girl, you've done it again." It made a great holiday meal. If you are craving
fried chicken, give it a try.)
