How to Put an ICON on your DESKTOP for your Spreadsheet / Tracker:
Right-click Start; (left) click Explore. Click on the folder that you saved the tracker file to, so that you can see the files in it. Find your tracker file (HEplanner--staroffice52v5.sdc or HEpl10X5.xls) and click it once to highlight it. Click the Restore/Resize button (upper right-hand corner of screen, in between Minimize button and X close button) so that the Explore window only covers part of the screen. In the smaller Explore window, scroll if necessary, until you see the highlight for the file. RIGHT-drag the highlighted object onto your desktop. In the pop-up menu, click Create Shortcut(s) Here. To get your Explore window back the way it was: Down at the bottom of your screen, RIGHT-click the rectangle for Exploring. Click Maximize. Close your Explore window, by clicking it's X in the upper right-hand corner.Continue Scrolling Down . . .
I'm now assuming thatNow anytime you want to open your Spreadsheet / Tracker, all you should have to do is double-click your Shortcut icon on your desktop.
