Be Sure to Get All of File when Downloading
While doing a download, you want to be sure that you get all of the file:
When doing the download, check to see if the web page that you are downloading from
gives the number of KB (kilobytes) or MB (megabytes) that the file is supposed to be.
Write that down (along with the folder that you are saving to).
Download your file and
then use Explore (right-click Start, then left-click Explore).
In the folder that you saved it to, find the file you downloaded,
and notice the number of KB (or MB) that you got.
If the KB that you got are the same as what it was supposed to be, you are OK.
If not, it didn't get all of the download, and you will need to do the download again.
This is true for all downloads.
If it did not get all of it: It might help to try the download at a time when the servers are less busy,
like the early hours of the morning. It is recommended to do the Star Office download overnight.
If you are trying to get the Spreadsheet / Tracker file, and cannot:
I will be happy to try to send it to you by email as a file attachment.
If you need me to do this, please email me at: jmento9@pd.jaring.my
Please specify if you want the Excel or Star Office version of the Spreadsheet / Tracker file.
