Their web-site states,Since 1951, we've been serving the Dallas area with an unsurpassed selection of quality trees, shrubs, perennials, herbs, annuals and much more that is an understatement. When They started the garden center was out in the country between Dallas and the little town of Richardson off US 75. This is the best broad spectrum nursery in Dallas. The sales people genuinely can help and want to help, and the selection is superb. Rusty says check it out.

Kings Creek Nursery

Rosa Finley, a visionary landscape architect, founded Kings Creek as a source for the plant materials she wanted to use in "native" landscapes. She liked it so much she opened it to retail sales. Keep posted for great seminars. Rusty and Mrs. Buttplate drive all the way (diagonally) across Dallas to go this nursery, for its selection of native plants.

Redenta's Garden

No Web-Site, but a darn nice small nursery perfectly suited to the circa 1920-1940's neighborhood it serves. No need for trees in this part of town, but the Lakewood gardeners do need bedding plants and loads of great advice on organic methods, and Redenta supplies both. Another great small business where the merit of having the owner on premises bears fruit.
