From 6 to 8 weeks, Mr. Bean just kept adding more and more of those beautiful shaded brown feathers.
It really made me wish the female gray had survived the cross-country trip. (Definitely have to order more grays next
year!) Still haven't convinced my husband that this bird is going to completely change colors when his adult feathers
come in. He just can't let go of those stripes!

After looking so beautiful, how can he look so awful?!
Talk about the awkward teenager stage!!

Originally called "Stripes", Mr. Bean got his name changed early on due to his silly behavior. He
has been a charmer from day-1.
I must say, I didn't care for his coloring to begin with. Those stripes were just too harsh
for my taste. Of course, the stripes are the reason my husband liked him. In fact, he was quite upset when I explained
he wouldn't have stripes as an adult. Go figure!

LEFT - A classic Mr. Bean moment.
At 9-1/2 weeks, Mr. Bean's wing speculums are looking great. Depending on the angle of the light,
they're either green or blue or purple. But the beginning of the end is already happening. He's starting to look
a little ragged. In fact, his head is looking a little moldy.
He's starting to molt.
The anticipation is killing me!
