For the rest of the story, click Amazing Grace All of us, in one way or another, need God's Grace in our lives.  Whether it be illness, financial problems, family issues, or something else; God is able, ready and willing to give us His Grace through His Son who died for our sins.  Jesus did die for our sins, but there is more to his sacrifice than merely our salvation.  John 10:10:  "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Having life to the "full" is a wonderful promise only Jesus can deliver. On this web site we will tell our story.  Our son Matthew has CGD.  It has changed our lives and impacted us in many ways.  It is a rare disease but is profound in it's implications.  He is now 11 years old. and continues to do very well.  Praise God for His healing Grace.   We are just getting going here and this page is a work in progress.  We want people to learn what CGD is and make this site a resource for those families, like ours, that have a child with CGD.  It is so rare it is largely unknown.  But problems, even serious problems come to everyone.  God's Grace can be a comfort to all who turn to Him.   We will have links to all the resources we can find.  We are very willing to communicate with families who have a loved one who has CGD or other serious illness.  Please contact us.   We believe prayer has helped our son greatly.  Let our family pray for your children.  We would also be honored to pray for any of your other needs.    God has lead us to excelllent doctors.  We have had nurses that were Angels on Earth.  He has watched over Matthew (and us) through all of this.  And given us hope when there wasn't any other obvious reason for hope.   To read the medical description of CGD, go to the links below.  CGD Granulomatous Disorder
