The Reclamation
Project - Synopsis
'The Reclamation Project takes place in the year 2250. It is the story of Dr. Lindsey Larimer, an Egyptologist, who with her Archeologist father, discover the legendary Library of Knowledge deep beneath the sands of Egypt in the Giza Plateau. The antediluvian scrolls and tablets within promise to reveal the secrets of the universe to whoever can successfully translate them. But the writings also reveal the necessity of a 'human-key' to fully unlock the mysteries and the power of the pyramids. As the president of the United States joins forces with the president of Egypt, they decide to reclaim this information left eons ago by highly advanced, celestial visitors. When it is discovered that the 'human-key' may be an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, the government entities authorize the cloning of both the legendary King Tutankhamun and his princess wife, Ankhesenamun. Shortly thereafter, Lindsey is brought in to work on the project and meets Dr. Kevin Sanders. Despite their mutual attraction, they initially clash until their relationship ultimately begins to unfold…as does the Reclamation Project. After a clandestine meeting in a mysterious underwater city with the professors in charge of translating the ancient writings, Lindsey and Kevin are confronted with revelations that parallel the biblical prophecies. Could the ‘Sons of God,’ spoken of in the book of Genesis have been extra-terrestrials? Did they truly marry and procreate with ‘the daughters of man?’ Returning to the Giza Plateau with the two fully-grown clones and an extensive military team, contact is finally made with the Annuaki; the celestial beings that left the tablets and scrolls on earth eons ago. But it seems that Tutankhamun may have some secrets of his own…ancient secrets that could endanger everyone and everything on the planet.
It soon becomes apparent to Lindsey and Kevin that 'The Reclamation Project' may have resulted in modern man overstepping the delicate balance between God and nature. A race against time ensues to discover if these ancient documents will bring about the expansion and advancement of Earth, or tear it apart.
Tutankhamun stood just behind the creature, a smug, yet somehow uncertain smirk on his unusually puffy face.
At first, Lindsey thought he had darkened his lower lids with kohl, but quickly realized that his eye sockets were just horribly
dark underneath…as though he were quite ill. From behind the sickly, smirking Tut stepped yet another creature, nearly identical to the one that now stood
only inches from Lindsey’s face. It mentally forced her to gaze upon its
hideous countenance as its glassy eyes blinked side to side like that of a lizard. Opening her mouth to scream, Lindsey was horrified when no sound came forth. The slanted gaze and repugnant
face consumed her as she stood before the man–creature. His bluish–green skin covered in small, barely definable
scales glinted in the muted glow of the room behind him. With sweat rolling down her temples, and blood drying on her legs and knees, Lindsey tried desperately to tear
her gaze from the yellow eyes of this demon. Its stare seemed to be rendering
her body incapable of obeying the commands of her mind. “So like the sons and daughters of man,” hissed the creature slowly, his ‘S’s lingering
long after the words had been spoken. “When in the face of fear, your first instinct is to pull away and run, instead
of standing and fighting for your own puny lives…” She couldn’t breathe; she had lost her baby and would die here at the hands of this hideous creature.
Too weak to defend herself against the attack, Lindsey went limp and submitted to her own death.
![]() The Reclamation Project Excerpt - It was dark, but there was light just ahead. Lindsey could hear her father speaking, though she couldn't make out the words. There was someone else speaking as well, a voice she knew, and Lindsey struggled to force herself forward. Her legs felt heavy, each step a concerted effort, as she entered the outskirts of the light.
"You involve yourself with things beyond your own comprehension!" The words were shouted as though many voices spoke them simultaneously. Lindsey shuddered, huddling close to the stone walls in the semi-darkness. "I could not have known," was the simple response. It was her father's voice, the words spoken low, almost in a whisper. Lindsey forced herself from her crouched position and stood upright. She had to go to her father…to stand by him no matter what the cost. He came from nowhere. One second, Lindsey had taken but half a step forward and the next, the acrimonious King Tutankhamun stood only inches from her. Had she completed the step, she would have walked directly into his heavily muscled physique. "And you! You condescending weakling!" The voices emanating from the enraged king when he spoke were almost physically painful to hear. "You are just as guilty!" He roard the accusation but inches from her face. Lindsey closed her eyes, unable to look at this man who frightened her to the core of her being. "In all of your arrogance, did you think you could sweetly talk me into handing you the power that is rightfully mine?" The dim glow behind him glinted off the gold of his armbands, disbursing bright shards of light that flittered across his livid countenance. Lindsey would have fallen to the floor, but it was then that she realized she was no longer standing on her own power. Daring to open her eyes and look down, she found that her body had levitated several inches off the ground…her feet dangling in mid air.
"Do not hurt her, Husband." The gentle voice of Ankhesenamun came from nowhere and everywhere at the same time. Again Lindsey opened her eyes and saw to her amazement that Ankhesenamun, richly garbed in a gown Lindsey had never seen before, stood just behind the angry king. In a flash, Tutankhamun turned his full wrath on the stunning Egyptian princess, and Lindsey's feet hit the stone floor hard. Intense, indescribable fear overwhelmed her and she felt as though her body was trapped in a vise. "I have told you before!" boomed the legion of voices that sprang forth from Tutankhamun as he addressed the princess. "Do not interfere, and do not speak for me!"
Lindsey looked toward her father, only a few yards away from her. Moving slowly, so as not to attract attention from the enraged king, Lindsey scooted forward on all fours. "Our time to use the knowledge has come and gone Tutankhamun!" returned Ankhesenamun's voice. “They have found the library and it is their right to use the power as they will! It was written! We must help them! YOU must help them!" Though still soft, her words seemed somehow magnified when she spoke, as were her husband’s. Finally reaching her father, Lindsey thought for a moment that he might disappear from her sight, but when she extended her hand to him, he enfolded her into his arms. "I am so sorry, Lindsey," his voice caught in his throat. "Can you ever forgive me for making you a part of this?" "Oh, Father," she whispered in reply, "I've missed you so much, and I'm so frightened of him. We have to get away from here. Come with me now!" Lindsey pulled on her father's arm and he followed her toward the opening she had come in through. Hugging the wall with the irate king's back to them, Lindsey and her father made their way to the entry door and exited the room, away from the light; away from the still booming voice of Tutankhamun "How dare you continually speak for me!" his voice thundered. "You are as insolent as you were over four thousand years ago, and I'll tolerate it no more now than I did then!" "Be careful what you say," whispered Ankhesenamun. "Lindsey must not know that we remember." "She will know nothing more than I wish for her to know!" As Lindsey and her father disappeared further into the dark recesses of the tunnel, she struggled to remember where she had heard those very same words spoken before.
