New Atlas-O Woodside Reefer

The car is a Green Bay & Western 40’ Woodside Reefer that was made for Hamilton Canning Company located in New London, Wisconsin (near Green Bay). Hamilton Canning was known for their Sauer Kraut, Pickles, Pickle Relish, etc… which they marketed under the “London Lodge” brand.

The car arrived today (6-11-07) and we will begin shipping Tuesday, 6-12-07. Atlas O item number is 8192 for 3-rail and 9192 for 2-rail versions. Pricing is set at $65.95 for the 3-rail and $70.95 for the 2-rail versions. Shipping will be $9.95 for the first car and $2.50 for each additional car ordered. 5.5% Sales Tax will be billed to Wisconsin residents. The car will be produced in two road numbers, 11525 & 11526.

Production prototype is shown below. The prototype version is missing the words “PERMANENT FLOOR RACKS” above the doors and the factory has corrected this omission, “PERMANENT FLOOR RACKS” appears on the production version.
