New custom run Atlas O 40’ wood reefer, GB TV & Trains exclusive!

Announcing the sixth in our series of 40’ wood reefers. The next car will be Red Crown Meats from United Packers Inc., Chicago. United Packers had offices and packaging facilities in Chicago, Illinois but used meat from their meat packing house in Green Bay, Wisconsin. United packers had reefers for their branded lines and one of those brands was Red Crown Meats. Only one photo of the actual car is known to exist. I apologize for the quality of the photo but it documents the car. Included is the artwork from Atlas O for this car, I will post pictures of the model when the prototype is produced. Delivery is expected in June, 2008.

Atlas O GB&W Alco C424 Arrival!

The Atlas O C424s have arrived and I was impressed. They are very detailed and paint and decoration is excellent. The engines are available in 3 versions.

Engine number 312 is available as powered only, engine number 313 is available as powered or dummy.

Features include: Lionel TMCC remote control, Lionel Railsounds, Train America 128 step “Engineer On Board” speed control, Electrocouplers, selectable classification light colors, smoke unit, 2 motors, directional headlights and classification lights, removable roof hatches for smoke fluid and battery access.
