New Lionel Catalog

The 2006 Volume 1 catalog has arrived. Of regional interest is an all new Milwaukee Road 4-4-2 Atlantic Hiawatha steam engine and 18” Hiawatha passenger cars with a “Beaver Tail” observation car. A Chicago Northwestern U30C diesel, Chicago Northwestern ore car, Duluth Missabe tank car, Chicago Great Western flat car with trailer load, Burlington double door boxcar with opening end doors, Milwaukee Road PS-2CD hopper (4 road numbers), A&P (West Bend, WI) milk reefer (4 road numbers), Chicago Northwestern flatcar with 2 20’ Piggyback trailers (4 road numbers). Other items of note include: A new Thomas & Friends expansion pack including S.C.RUFFY and Harold the Helicopter, Percy and James engines. Christmas train set and two new expansion packs. A very deluxe “Empire Builder” train set lead by a NYC 4-8-2 L-A2 Mohawk, Standard O (scale) freight cars, TMCC operating crane and TMCC Boom car with crane sounds, O-72 Fastrack layout with two O-72 switches, ZW-II transformer, TMCC hand unit and command base. Nascar train sets featuring Dale Earnhardt Jr., Dale Earnhardt Sr., Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson and Kasey Kahne. Tinplate fans will be pleased by the 269E train set pulled by a 261E steam engine with 654 tank car, 659 dump car and 657 caboose. For F3 fans, a Postwar Celebration Series #2269W set with B&O F3 A-B in the lead and freight car consist featuring several operating cars. For steamer and space fans, a Postwar Celebration Series #2545WS Space-Freight set pulled by a 746 N&W steamer and including missile flat car, exploding boxcar, helicopter launch flatcar, missile launch flatcar, radar tracking car and caboose. Also offered is the #175 rocket launcher, U.S. Army missile launcher locomotive, missile launch sound car, Army security car, Huey Helicopter pylon, Army water tower, and Armory Loader (icing station type). Halloween cars, engine and operating accessories are offered. The Lionmaster series will offer a new SP Cab Forward that will run on O-31 curves. New scale engines include E7 A-A pairs in Union Pacific and New York Central, F7 A-B-A in Pennsy and Santa Fe warbonnet, Scale GG-1 in silver “Congressional” colors with silver “Congressional” cars. New Atlas-O Woodside Reefer Update

The car will be delivered in spring 2006 (April or May). Atlas O item number is 8181 for 3-rail and 9181 for 2-rail versions. Pricing is set at $62.95 for the 3-rail and $67.95 for the 2-rail versions. Shipping will be $8.95 for the first car and $2.50 for each additional car ordered. 5.5% Sales Tax will be billed to Wisconsin residents. The car will be produced in four road numbers as shown in the original photo we have.

Our artist’s mockup is shown below. The production version will have more reporting marks than shown but this photo is very close to what will be produced.

Payment in full will be taken on all orders from here on in and anyone who has paid a deposit will be billed the balance.
